Whatchamacallit is a group exhibition that intersects body and object through various artistic practice. The work in this exhibition pulls from various style and frameworks, from object based sculptures to material installations. Emerging artists Korkmaz, Lott, Percherle, and Sallese present an alternate view of the body in contemporary art and culture.
Whatchamacallit is part of All At Once OCAD University's Sculpture/Installation Program - in collaboration with Angell Gallery, Beaver Hall Gallery, Birch Contemporary, Gallery 1313, Koffler Centre of the Arts at Artscape Youngplace and Lonsdale Gallery taking place from March 2 to April 24, 2016. This series of seventeen exhibitions will feature the multi-media artworks of 4th-year students in professional Toronto galleries. It has been made possible by the generous support of the Nora Vaughan Bequest to the Sculpture/Installation Program and of the Faculty of Art Innovation Fund.
